It has certainly been an interesting week here in Hong Kong, to say the least. As the world takes notice of tensions rising between Hong Kong and China, I thought I would provide a little snapshot of the history between Hong Kong and China.
Wednesday night at Hong Kong’s Victoria Park, an estimated 180,000 Hongkongers showed up for the 25th anniversary of the government crackdown that took place in Tianenmen Square in Beijing, China.
Twenty five years ago today, despite China’s brutal stance towards protests, nearly one million Chinese took to the streets in hopes to gain political freedom. Rather than flee for a better life abroad, these brave individuals fought for personal civil liberties in their homeland. … Read More
